The Sexy Pocahontas

Sunday I had some spare time so I decided to have a little date with my favorite makeup girl, Crissy. After my long drive into the countryside of Fort Worth, Texas passing many cows and Christians, I finally made it. No less than 20 minutes we were out the door again doing an improv shoot with her sister-in-law dressed up in a sexy Native American outfit. As you can see in the picture above the photos were only lit using two-580exii as rim and fill.

Check out the pics from our 20 minute photoshoot below:

BTS: Male Fashion Photography

You’re reading my first ever behind the scene (BTS) blog post. BTS: Male Fashion Photography The whole reason for even starting this blog was to have a venue for me to post some behind the scenes content on what goes on during a typical shoot in the life of a crazy Asian fashion photographer.

It’s not all ‘America’s Next Top Model’ production-worthy, but it does give you a pretty good realistic idea of how fun my field can be. After the jump you can view some photos that were already published online and also see some behind the scenes grab of model Kyle Deaton. Hope you enjoy it. Look out for future more in-depth BTS and video!

Dallas Photography Socials – Model Shoot

A few days ago I told you all about this amazing organization called the Dallas Photography Socials which held a photo event in Plano, Texas. Asides from walking around and socializing with other photographers, I was able to grab a quick snap of a model name Amanda. She had on this beautiful black dress and her ‘emo-ness’ demeanor just demanded my attention. You can view the before, after, and close-up shot after the jump. Comments greatly appreciated! I know the fake background and stuff is kind of cheesy. Hell, it’s 3a.m. What else do I have to do at this hour?
